Fine 18th century Swedish Baroque (Komstad) limestone top table with one drawer to the front and baluster-shaped legs joined by y-stretcher. Works excellent as a centre table as well, Sweden, circa 1750.
The antique Komstad limestone top has historically been added, ca 1830 - 50. Komstad limestone was widely used as a building stone and ornamental stone in the middle of the 19th century, when many farmers and gentlemen ordered the stone for their tables.
Good condition with wear consistent with age and use.
