When you lie in Hästens Maranga, the sensation is one of weightlessness. This bed is the very definition of responsive pliability. As you sink into it, your body is received with a gentle hug. As you get up, the bed follows your movement then immediately returns to its original firm, smooth state.

Nature’s finest materials come together in Hästens Maranga: horsetail hair, wool, cotton and flax. They are joined by hand with the layer-upon-layer technique we devised – and perfected – ourselves.

Side-stitching completes the work. That alone takes two hours. Following our iconic fabric pattern to the letter – or more accurately, the box – each stitch is placed in precisely the right place.

Maranga comes from the Maori word for “wake up”. A clear indication of the effect of just one night in this masterpiece.

All the Hästen models are available in California king, king, queen, full and twin XL as well as fully customisable if you require a unique size. The traditional blue and white iconic fabric pattern is the most recognizable for Hästens, but many other options are available including black shadow, phantom charcoal & natural shale.

The full bed systems can be purchased along with Hästen branded headboards for a complete look to finish your bedroom space. It is also an option to buy the mattress and topper only to complement your own bed frame. 

Hästens standard bed legs are included, or you can customize your bed with legs in your choice of materials, finishes and designs. Hästens also has created an extensive collection of linens and bedding to further enhance your sleeping experience.
