Shipping policy

One of a kind pieces are sold by invoice and collected or shipped within fourteen days of payment. Emerson Bailey is a gallery rather than a warehouse, so we work with trusted specialists for pickup, receiving, storage, transport and white glove installation and will gladly introduce you and coordinate the handover; their services are contracted and billed directly between you and them. Freight depends on destination, access and service level, and consolidated art shuttles can take several weeks. Please insure the shipment in your name for its full value. Risk of loss passes to you when the piece is handed to the carrier or collected from the gallery; transit damage is a claim on that insurance and we will help with documentation.

Small objects we ship ourselves travel by parcel carrier at the rates shown; report damage within seven days with photographs and we will put it right.

Pieces in transit to us from Europe are marked on the product page with an expected arrival window. If we cannot ship within the time stated, we will contact you with a new date and you may accept it or cancel for a full refund.

Part of our collection is offered for sale while it is still at our facility in Sweden, as the listing shows. Such pieces can join our next container to Bozeman or be shipped directly to you, and the freight is quoted before anything moves; our Swedish logistics partner arranges insurance and any export permit, and United States import clearance and duties are the buyer's responsibility.

We ship worldwide by quotation. International buyers are responsible for duties, taxes and import compliance at destination.
