A fantastic, one-of-a-kind console table, custom designed from an 18th-century walnut plank resting on a pair of 19th-century French stone columns that once stood in a garden in Belgium. Each element carries its own long history, visible in the walnut’s deep, aged grain and in the stone’s patina.
Rather than disguising their age, the design lets both materials show it. Brought together, they become something entirely new: a sculptural piece with a modern feel, grounded in centuries of character. It works equally well in an entry hall, behind a sofa, or as a statement piece in a contemporary interior.
